Mat D / Mat D and the Profane Saints
Dubbed as the "Hemingway of the Highway" Mathew DeRiso is possibly the best
singer songwriter you probably have never heard of. Writing and singing a mix of hard luck
Americana and bad man ballads. In July 2020 he signed with Crazy Poet Records as a solo
artist. Previous to that he was with the band 'Mat D and the Profane Saints' from 2006-2019.
Their album 'Holyoke' was The Troubadour Show Album of The Year in 2014 and their
album 'The Mercy Road' was The Troubadour Show Album of The Year in 2016.

Michael McDermott grew up on Chicago’s Irish South Side and went on to become one of
the best singer songwriters around. How he or his band 'The Westies' are not more
widely known is a mystery. Great lyrics, proper Americana, Folk and Rock 'n' Roll.
